Corral Works is a product of DawsonSoft LLC — a small software shop focused on tools that close real gaps in higher-ed advancement work.

Why this product exists

Over years of embedded work with college and university advancement services teams, we kept watching the same scene: smart people, busy afternoons, and Excel files that shouldn't have to exist. A mailing-address cleanup. A designation correction after a campaign close. A salutation field that needed fixing on a cohort. Small problems — solved with multi-step workarounds because the CRM didn't give staff a safe way to do the work directly.

Corral Works is the tool we kept wishing those teams had. Built first for the schools running Ellucian CRM Advance, because that's where we've spent the most time and where the design choices are the most informed. Useful in other Microsoft Dynamics CRM environments too — same architecture underneath.

What we believe

Focused tools beat sprawling platforms. We'd rather do five things well than fifty things passably.
Staff should own the small stuff. When advancement services has to file a ticket for a typo fix, the CRM has failed somewhere upstream.
Guardrails before speed. The fast path only matters if it's also the safe path. Preview, validation, attribution, and rollback are not features — they are the product.
Honest scope. We tell prospects what Corral Works isn't, on the same page we tell them what it is. Fit beats funnel.
